Thanks. What precisely is the difference of fuzzy logic from continuous logic?

    David Corfield,

I am not the OP, but fuzzy logic is perhaps best described as a type of continuous logic used in Lotfi A. Zadeh's fuzzy set theory, which was formulated in 1965, about thirty seven years before the formulation of general continuous logic. Wikipedia has an entire set of articles around fuzzy set theory, fuzzy logic, and general fuzzy mathematics.

I added the connection between T-norm fuzzy logics and commutative quantale structures on [0,1][0, 1].

Added more substance to the Idea section; explained left-continuity.
