   Format: MarkdownItexThat's right, if there is an F-theory version of the IKKT model (not aware than anyone tried to look into that) it would have to be F-theory compactified on a real 12-dimensional manifold, and that would probably (have to) be an elliptically fibered CY 6-fold.
