starting something, to go along with first stable homotopy group of spheres and third stable homotopy group of sphere – but for the moment just collecting references

according to Hopkins’ talk at Atiyah’s 80th birthday (slide 8, 9:45) Pontryagin had announced the computation of π 2 s\pi_2^s at the International Congress of Mathematics of 1930 (with some mistake, but anyway). Is there any trace (e.g. in proceedings) of that 1930 ICM talk?

re #2: ah, it was ICM 1936 in Oslo, not 1930. Have included the reference now, as Pontrjagin36. Also re-arranged the list of references a little, and added pointer to Ravenel’s page A collection of earlier and more recent papers related to the Arf-Kervaire invariant problem.
