I noticed I split my edits between this username and the anonymous name 'Matteo Capucci'.
Is there an _easy_ way to move the anonymous ones to my main account?

Hi Matteo, I have done this now. I am not sure why the anonymous ones are not being automatically associated to your account, they should be I think as you have provided your name in your nForum account details (unless you only added this info very recently). Let me know if this continues and I will investigate!

Yes I added the ’real name’ in order to try to merge the two edit groups. Thanks a lot!

I still see all my 2021 edits under ’Matteo Capucci’ instead of ’mattecapu’

  1. Re #3: that explains it, thanks!

Re #4: yes, the way it works now is that when you sign an nLab edit as ’Matteo Capucci’, it will be associated with your nforum account ’mattecapu’ correctly. I didn’t realise that you had made nLab edits in both names, I only fixed things on the nForum. I can change nLab edits signed as ’mattecapu’ to ’Matteo Capucci’, is that OK/what you wish?

Yes, if that means I can sign with my real name and sitll be associated with this nForum account. Thanks again for the help :)

  2. Yes, that is how it should work from now on. I have changed the name of your nLab edits now to all be ’Matteo Capucci’.

So I have just noticed that my edits have also been splitting: see here https://ncatlab.org/nlab/author/Bryce+Clarke and here https://ncatlab.org/nlab/author/BryceClarke. Is it possible for these to be merged?

I don’t know, but I’ll check with the technical team.

  3. The nLab edits have been unified under author "Bryce Clarke".

Cached pages may still show the old author name until the cache is cleared (for example on page edit).
