In Opera, there doesn’t appear to be any easy way to override the lab’s CSS file and choice of font for displaying mathematics. Is there any way that we could switch the fonts on the lab to the fonts on the forum, which look pretty good?

Edit: Alright, after messing around with it a bit, the problem is that Opera does not have an option like “font.mathfont-family” that loads glyphs by falling back to fonts of lower and lower priority. It seems like it can only load one font for mathml at a time, as stupid as that is.

What are the fonts on the Forum?

(Personally, I dislike both the Forum’s fonts and the Lab’s fonts. I’ve set my browser to override the Lab’s fonts but haven’t done so for the Forum yet, so ironically I think that the Lab looks better!)

The forum is by default set to use STIXSize5. The Lab is set to use Verdana, etc.

Yeah, I’m not overwhelmed by the forum’s fonts either. I’m playing with the CSS at the moment so if anyone has a good suggestion, please say so.

(If you look in the available styles (via “My Details”) then you’ll find one called “test” which is what I’m playing with. Looks best in firefox and I’m keeping an eye on Chrome and Opera as well as I play, when I’ve got something nice I’ll take a look at it in IE and despair.)
