    I recently switched to Opera from Flock. Math appears to be displaying properly for the most part, however when looking at the table Tim made on the Kerr spacetime page, I see little boxes around any object that is immediately followed by a superscript or subscript (and sometimes the super/subscript itself). Any idea how to fix this?

    Yeah, don’t use opera. The mathML support is not very good (I’ve been using opera for over 10 years and I’m too used to it to switch to firefox. Well, at least over something as unimportant as mathML.). Most of the features in opera can be gotten in firefox as extensions. I suggest getting a mouse-gestures extension and an all-in-one sidebar extension. That’s pretty much your only bet afaik. Meanwhile, STIX is coming out with the fonts either today or tomorrow, so get ready!

    If your little boxes come with vertical scroll bars, that may be the side effect of a CSS experiment that I’m going to undo in a few minutes.

    @Harry: Drat. And here I was just getting used to Opera. I liked Flock (which is a Firefox derivative) because of the way it handled feeds, but it was otherwise too buggy (though it did do a good job with MathML). So I switched to Opera. I am unfamiliar with STIX (until now). Will there be a STIX package for LaTeX or is STIX just for browsers and such?

    @Toby: no scroll bars and they're still there so I'm assuming it is not a CSS problem.
