How about we give this a more descriptive title, such as

    • “funding opportunities in pure mathematics”

    or even

    • “funding opportunities in pure maths in North America”.

    ?

    Regarding the requested link to

    • “Pure Mathematics”:

For what it’s worth, our convention is to have capitals in page titles only for names, such as when the page title is the title of a book it is discussing. So if we do create such an entry, it ought to be called

    • “pure mathematics”

But before we go there, let me highlight that the existing entry

is a stub and has always been waiting for a kind soul to actually give it some care. So if you feel inclined to work on entries like “pure mathematics”, maybe we could ask you to first start with “mathematics”. If and when that entry really grows large enough to justify splitting off sub-entries such as on pure and applied mathematics, then we can easily still do that later.

If it’s in North America, than it’s pure math, not pure maths :-)

But Oberwolfach and Institut Henri Poincaré are not in North America.

    Fair enough.

Okay, I have renamed the entry from “funding” to “funding opportunities in mathematics”.

Also touched the coding of the subsection outline and added a TOC.

Let me say that such list entries tend to grow old when they are not being maintained and updated as time goes by. Which would probably work better on sites with more than order 10 010^0 regular editors as we have here. But I appreciate the optimism.
