Author: Guest Format: TextThe statement here about finitely generated EFC algebras is not strictly true. Not all such algebras are finitely generated HFG algebras in the sense of Pirkovskii's theorem 3.23, since the defining ideal has to be closed to give an HFG algebra. That's the main reason I restricted to finitely presented algebras in my paper, because finitely generated ideals are always closed. Jon Pridham
