    I have added more references now, including the original reference:

    I admit that it’s not clear to me right now how the definition there agrees with the one I have typed into the entry, nor how either agrees with what other authors say.

    The definition currently in the entry is that stated in the abstract of Madsen, Thomas & Wall 1983, and I have now referenced it as such.
