    I was wondering: is it deontologically frowned upon / acceptable / encouraged to cite one's own work in an nLab page? (When relevant, of course, but the point is that the author might not be considered the best judge of the relevance of their own work.) So far, I've been refraining from doing this.

    The idea is that you add the best material you have to offer. If you have thought about and written about it before, then all the better.
