Shouldn’t this go in Section 1 instead of Section 2? Currently, Section 1 duplicates parts of Section 2. The PDF link is buried deep in Section 2, may be hard to notice.
True. I hadn’t even noticed, as the item used to be sitting in section 2 and I just added the pdf link to it.
But have now moved it up to “Selected writings”.
Of course, eventually the analogous procedure should be applied to all the items in that Section 2, too. If anyone has the energy.
I have added the publication data for the following three references following a reply by Richard Garner on the categories mailing list:
G. M. Kelly, I. J. Le Creurer, On the monadicity over graphs of categories with limits, Cahiers de Topologie et Géométrie Différentielle Catégoriques 38 3 (1997) 179-191 [ numdam]
G. M. Kelly, Stephen Lack, On the monadicity of categories with chosen colimits, Theory and Applications of Categories 7 7 (2000) 148-170 [TAC]
Jiri Adamek, G. M. Kelly, -Completeness is seldom monadic over graphs, Theory and Applications of Categories 7 8 (2000) 171-205 [TAC]
However, I am unsure of the correct place to add the references in the rest of the nLab. It doesn’t seem right to put the on the categories, graphs, monadicity, limits or colimits pages. Any ideas?
When there isn’t yet an entry concerned with the content of a publication that you like to record, then it’s time to create it!
In the present case one could add to Cat a “Properties”-subsection “Categories monadic over graphs”.
To start with, that subsection wouldn’t need to have much content, it could just point to those references, with a brief sentence on what’s going on.
Eventually, if you are more ambitious about the topic of the references you could create a dedicated entry “categories monadic over graphs” and expand further, there.
