Now that I look at the entry:
The former idea section seemed a little off:
a logical connective is a function (possibly multifunction|of several variables) between propositions
The term ’connective’ is used in mathematical logic because ’function’ and ’operator’ are often features of what the logic describes. So ’connective’ refers to a feature of the metalanguage, while ’function’ or ’operator’ usually refer to features of the object language.
