    I sketched out a modern proof of the Wedderburn–Artin theorem. I changed the title of this article to “Wedderburn–Artin theorem” since this is what everyone says, the idea being that Wedderburn came first and Artin put on some final touches considerabl later. See the discussion of this point on the Wikipedia talk page regarding this issue.

    Tried to fix finiteness issue near the start of the proof of Wedderburn-Artin. Why does a semisimple ring RR have to be a finite sum of simple RR-modules? Certainly not every RR-module is such a finite direct sum. I tried to answer this objection.
