New entry relaxed multicategory. A relaxed multicategory is a special case of enriched multicategory which is accomodating for singularities like in the work of Richard Borcherds on G-vertex algebras.
Can somebody (Todd ? Jim ?) comment on the possible connection of relaxed multicategory approach and its variants (pseudotensor categories aparatus in Beilinson-Drinfel'd, meromorphic tensor categories of Soibelman...) with other operadic approaches mentioned in nlab ? (Word operad/multicategory does not mean that the ideas are directly related) E.g. the one of Todd and Jim, mentioned elsewhere (on which I do not know) and pretty well known operadic approach of Bakalov-D'Andrea-Kac.
Mamuka Jibladze had some interesting synthesis prepared for my conference in Split in 2007 but he cancelled coming so we did not see that promising talk. In his message to me he wrote that his talk was to be
about the relationship between (pseudo)monoidal structures incorporating vertex algebras proposed by Borcherds, Kontsevich-Soibelman, Beilinson-Drinfeld and Bakalov-D'Andrea-Kac
