Lots of questions by Jim Stasheff at descent for L-infinity algebras. But they are not marked clearly, so have a look at the changes.

Looks like Jim posted a comment about this in the wrong forum. Hmm, I think I need more signposts about the place saying “Do you really want to post this here?” as Jim’s not the first to do that.

Lots of questions by Jim Stasheff

I have marked them as. Aparts from where he marks evident gaps in the notes, I see two questions:

    1. what’s the content of and the reference to Kuranishi’s Annals-article that’s being mentioned?

    2. What’s the nontrivial with replacing differential forms with singular cochains in the construction?

The first one would have to look up. I don’t have the time right now. Of the second I forget the details, but as usual there is a major quasi-isomorphism to be demonstrated.

(I reverted one of Jim’s changes: he had changed “again” to “against” where it really must be “again”).

Is this about that extra discussion board that appears sometimes? I have posted there once when I was in a rush and didn’t pay attention. It didn’t used to get in the way when one wanted to go to the nForum. What is its purpose?
