    Jorge Picado and Aleš Pultr have published a new textbook on locales:
    Frames and Locales. Topology without points

    Apart from Johnstone's classic Stone Spaces,
    this seems to be the only book-length treatment of locales.

    It also seems to be the only textbook on general topology written from localic viewpoint
    (Johnstone's book is somewhat specialized in its choice of topics.)

    I haven’t looked at this new book yet, but I thought I would mention that there is also a lot of locale theory (probably enough to fill a short book) in Part C of Sketches of an Elephant. Steve Vickers’ book Topology via Logic uses locales extensively as well, although its viewpoint is somewhat idiosyncratic.

    I see that this book has several chapters on uniform locales! I’ve always wanted to understand those better. Now I need to find some hours to sit down and read it…
