   Format: MarkdownItexWell, the author of the query seems being not aware that most terms about the representations in fact are the categorical notions, like simple module, indecomposable module, socle, etc. So in fact most references about representation theory are about the category $Rep(G)$ (and analogues) or its chosen subcategories.
