as mentioned in another thread, I have expanded the Idea-section at polarization in order to highlight the relation to canonical momenta (which I also edited accordingly).

In order to have something more than just "???" listed for polarization of "n-plectic oo-groupoid", I boldly added a citation to an example in my thesis where I consider a simple notion of "higher" real polarization of a 2-plectic manifold. It's far from the perfect answer, and it feels a bit dirty to self-promote, but it's the only place I know of in the literature where such a concept is actually used to geometrically quantize a 2-plectic manifold via higher structures.
