created Gaussian probability distribution, just for completeness
Fixed a mistake (upside-down fraction), generalised to arbitrary mean, and noted how the standard deviation appears in the $1$-dimensional case.
Thanks!
Why ‘$\mu_S$’? Is it maybe supposed to be ‘$\mu_A$’?
Right, thanks. I have changed it to $\mu_A$ now.
(The “$\mu_S$” is a remnant of the origin of the construction of the entry in the discussion of BV-quantization of free fields, where the Gaussian factor is the exponentiation of the action functional “$S$”.)
