1. I'd like to add the following "shape" to http://ncatlab.org/nlab/show/limit#types_of_shapes_of_limit_cones_17 :

The limit of the identity functor Id: C --> C is the initial object of C (it it exists).

    go ahead and add it!

  2. ok, thanks. I'll try to learn making additions without every time asking for feedback on the forum.. by the way, the identity C --> C is not a real "shape", since the source diagram is not fixed, so I will make this addition in some other place in the entry "limit"

This comment is invalid XHTML+MathML+SVG; displaying source.

I'll try to learn making additions without every time asking for feedback on the forum..

It's great to ask for feedback. But since we are all busy and lazy, the most efficient thing is to ask for feedback on existing material. So you should add whatever you think is good to add, and then announce this here, saying "I just added this and that." Then everyone can have a look. And further edit the material, if desired.

And if you're not sure about it, then you can say that you're not sure. Then we won't feel bad telling you that it's no good! (But as for what you want to add here, that is good.)
