The cache bug (that when a page is renamed, the cache under the old name is not deleted, so the old version will be shown if anyone tries to look at it directly) was affecting far more pages than I realised (history, for example). So I just deleted the lot of them. If we normally get lots of readers who don't make edits, then this might slow things down for a while, but I doubt it. I've been deleting caches whenever I see a page move invoke this bug, but now I know that I need to be more thorough. (For those who don't know: The cached views are HTML files that the server keeps on hand, so that it can present these whenever a page is asked for without rendering them again. They do ~not~ contain the markup data that we actually edit, nor the old revisions of that. I would never delete that stuff, and I don't think that I have the power to either.)

Andrew is learning, but he's still hesitant to change our local version of Instiki, in case in interacts badly with updates from the main branch.
