inverse semigroups behave very well, in some aspects almost like groups, and have close relation to etale groupoids and quantales. I added few references to its stubby entry.
I have created a new entry on the homotopy theory of inverse semigroups. This is just a stub based on the abstract of a paper written with Mark Lawson and Joe matthews and needs more work.
Thanks, I did not know of your paper :)
Are you still collaborating with Mark V. Lawson ?
Not on a research basis. He is in Heriot Watt (Edinburgh). We correspond from time to time. As you know he is an ex-colleague.
Zoran, you may also be interested in Joe Matthews thesis: Topological ideas in Inverse Semigroup theory, (Bangor, April 2004) He handles various cohomologies for Inverse semi-groups. I can send you a link to PS file if it would be useful. It is on the Bangor maths pages which exist underground! I should give a summary of some of the results for the nLab, but find it hard to put in the time due to various other committments.
Thanks for the pointer, I found the thesis online.
