Has anyone taken a look at this page recently? There’s a ton of good information there, but it’s also clear that it’s been used for self-promotional purposes by a lot of less-than-stellar people. A purging is probably in order.

I’m deleting the following mentions of math blogs, as spammy or obsolete or of little value or as piggybacking on the nLab. I tried not to be too snobbish. While I was at it I added a few more annotations to ones we’re keeping for now.

    Now marked as private.

    • Calculatorius Math lessons, articles and formulas in algebra, geometry and other math topics together with online calculators.

    Of questionable value.

    • Holomorphusion (commutative algebra, algebraic geometry – last updated April 2011)

The authors have deleted the site.

    • Learning Curves (mathematics education from the perspective of a retiring college professor; may contain vulgar language and expressions of anger)

Inactive for a couple of years. I saw nothing of particular value. Most recently he was talking about his cat.

    • Mathematical Mischief Josh attempts to cover a broad range of high school topics, developing free resources and funny insights into how maths is involved in our everyday world.

    Meh. Of questionable value.

There may be other mentions that others feel are worth pruning out. Please discuss here if some of the ones deleted you felt were worth keeping.
