I’ve added material to each of the entries polynomial ring, rational function, projective line, focusing mainly on the substitution operation and induced operations on the projective line.

The above-mentioned edits were ultimately in view of some further edits I’ve just made at trigonometric identities. That entry would certainly provide fuel for jokes on the order of Mathematics Made Difficult, especially the first two paragraphs, but what the hell.

    Thanks! Nice.

I have turned “Euler’s identity” into Euler’s formula (following Wikipedia, which suggests that the former refers only to a special case of the latter)

    • (edited Jan 2nd 2015)

I have now done some expansion at trigonometric function.

There’s also this old and (apparently forgotten?) page trigonometric identities and the irrationality of pi. I haven’t seriously looked at it; maybe Toby has (we haven’t seen him in a while it seems; hope he is doing well).

And now I’ve created hyperbolic function.
