Robin Cockett started weakly distributive category. We already have linearly distributive category, so there needs to be a merger.
Thanks for the alert. I have merged this new material as an Idea-section into the existing linearly distributive category.
This gives me occasion to re-iterate my request to everyone to think of adding all necessary cross-links and re-directs when creating an entry! The above is a good example for which opportunities may be missed if one doesn’t do this systematically.
I have also edited Robin Cockett’s text slightly at a few places, adding hyperlinks, fixing the math typesetting.
I hope Todd Trimble and other experts see this and maybe add the missing references that the text is alluding to. (I expect we have them all in the entry on linear logic, but somebody should look into it.)
I added the main reference on the coherence problem material, and can track down this nice result due to Robin Houston and his co-author. Valeria mentioned this result a little while back, and it made very very happy.
Edit: the Heijltjes-Houston reference has now been added.
