   Format: MarkdownItexI'd like to understand the relation to jet spaces better. It seems that, strictly speaking, a jet space is not a special case of a jet scheme and vice versa. In SDG terminology if $\Delta_m=\{\epsilon \in R \, | \, \epsilon^{m+1}=0\}$, then the jet scheme $X_m=[\Delta_m,X]$ right?

   I’d like to understand the relation to jet spaces better. It seems that, strictly speaking, a jet space is not a special case of a jet scheme and vice versa. In SDG terminology if , then the jet scheme right?
