    I have written several pages which had EXPLICIT source code numbering 1-2-3 etc. in lists displaying correctly few years ago when creating those nLab pages including those on personal web like hom12 (zoranskoda). Some time ago the appearace annoyingly changed and instead of 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. it says 1. 1. 1. 1. 1. 1. see hom12 (zoranskoda).

    What happens when you change to 1 2 3 (no period) or 1) 2) 3) ? I don’t want to mess with your page or I’d try it myself. My guess the list markdown thinks that those are separate lists and starts numbering them each from 1, but why it started now is a bit of a mystery - probably due to the update to some of the code that Adeel did on private webs for a different numbering problem.

    A simple fix is this:

      * $1.$

      * $2.$

      * $3.$

    I’ll use the Urs’s advice, thanks. (I am not sure which other pages are effected, though.)
