The section “Connected components” seems not quite right, or rather right only when $d - 1$ is odd (as it is in classical relativity). When $d - 1$ is even, point reflection in space $P$ lies within $SO^+(d-1, 1)$, so can’t lead to a different connected component.
One fix would be to use reflection in a hyperplane. I’m not sure if there’s a cleaner / more symmetrical fix.
Thanks for catching this. As a quick fix I have just edited to restrict $d$ to 3 (here). Of course, better would be to type out the correct general discussion…
