I have added to cosmic censorship hypothesis pointer to the recent result (Crisford-Santos 17) showing that it is violated not just in higher dimensions, but also in four spacetime dimensions. And added a minimum of text to go with this. Also cross-linked with weak gravity conjecture.

Have touched the formatting. Slightly tweaked the text, trying to streamline. Hyperlinked more of the technical terms (e.g. Einstein’s equations).

Moved the reference items Crisford-Santos 17 and Andrade-Figueras-Sperhake 20 from “Strong cosmic censorship” to “Weak cosmic censorship” (no?); and Etesi 12 to “Strong cosmic censorship”.

    Added pointer to the original

    and to the review

    Added publication data to:

    Where the text says

…proposed by Penrose in 1986 … proposed by him in 1988…

    the references should be given!

That article is a good read! Lucid, insightful, careful, erudite.
