I just happened to notice that the example in FAQ - How do I put math inside HTML? doesn’t seem to work anymore, at least not in my browser (firefox 54 linux). Does it display as math for others?

Nah, it’s messed up for me too. (Firefox 53.0 Mac Sierra)

Me too, and unless Instiki serves different HTML to different browsers, it's messed up for everybody. (The markdown="1" is simply stripped out of the rendered HTML.) I've added a sad comment.

I also added a link name to that section, in accordance with good practice, which broke Mike's link above but should never break in the future even if conflicting edits are made (other than an edit to its own link name, which one should not do). So now the link is https://ncatlab.org/nlab/show/FAQ#markdown1.
