    This comment is invalid XHTML+MathML+SVG; displaying source. <div> I went to create a new page tonight and when I clicked "submit" I got the following error:<br/><br/><blockquote><br/><b>Internal Error</b><br/><br/>An application error occurred while processing your request.<br/></blockquote><br/><br/>Since Toby had trouble editing the other day due to his IP address, I checked mine but it's not on the block list. Anyone ever get this error and, if so, is there a fix? </div>

    Yes, that happens sometimes when there is some problem with the syntax that the software fails to deal with.

    In this case, hit the back button and fiddle around with your entry a bit. For instance delete everything except the first n lines, hit submit and see if it works. Do induction on n. Usually it is easy to figure out which line caused a problem.

    As of yesterday, the IP-address problem should now have a more helpful error message, so if you get an unhelpful one like the one above, then it's not because your IP address is on the blacklist.
