I can’t remember if this has been discussed recently, but I’m noticing that within the nLab, König’s theorem and König’s lemma have grayed links. You can see the latter gray link at König’s theorem, and the former at Easton’s theorem IIRC. Could it be a problem with diacritical marks (here, German umlauts)?
Hi Todd, thanks for raising this! As far as I can tell, the reason for the grey link for König’s lemma is that there is actually no page with this name or redirect to it! I created a redirect in the Sandbox, and then the link displayed correctly at König’s theorem (deleted the redirect from the Sandbox again now). Looking into the other one now.
The problem with the link at continuum hypothesis to König’s theorem was that the latter page had some unicode symbol rather than the simple ’ in the page title, and the simple ’ was what was being used in the link.
In summary, diacritical marks seem to be being handled fine :-). Very good to fix these things, though.

Certainly it is always likely to cause problems if used, since it is so similar to a simple ’. I could add an automatic re-direct or something in the codebase, but I think I’ll leave it for the moment, because we fortunately have only a handful of pages with the offending symbol in the page name; I have fixed those now for which we did not have a redirect with the simple ’.

Just to absolutely sure, I searched through the content of all pages, and did not find a redirect for it anywhere, nor do we have it amongst the page names :-). In general, though, it is definitely worth checking, because it is just about possible (though unlikely now in nearly all cases) that something went amiss during the move to the new renderer.
Maybe the wrong thread, but while we’re on the general topic: there’s a gray link in Peano curve to Euclidean spaces. (Ah, never mind: it was an extra white space. Fixed.)
Wikipedia’s solution to this problem is to create a redirect that replaces one apostrophe with another.
Can certainly do that in the end. As in #6, will leave for the moment, but will try to remember to add it when I return to the next steps in the rewriting of the frontend. Will add it to the Technical TODO list (nlabmeta).
