I have added in references to Whitehead’s address ’delivered before the Princeton Meeting of the AM Society on November 2, 1946’ that is ‘combinatorial homotopy 1’.

We don’t seem to have an entry for ‘regular CW-complex’. Would a separate entry be better than simply adding a section into CW-complex?

    I edited

The geometric realization of any locally finite simplicial set is a CW-complex (Milnor 57).

to remove the phrase “locally finite”, since that is only mentioned in Milnor 57 in relation to preservation of products by geometric realisation, and really only has to do with the behaviour of CW-complexes under products.

    am adding pointer to:

    • Andrew Brooke-Taylor, Products of CW complexes – the full story, 2017 (pdf)

and will try to boost our corresponding Prop. (here) a little

I have merged the puny Properties-subsection “Local contractibility” with “Compactness properties” to “Topological properties” (now here)

and then I added the statement that CW-complexes are not just compactly generated, but even Delta-generated.
