  1. Stated Bertrand’s postulate and an equivalent formulation of it, and gave a proof of the latter (simple and in the literature, but recent and not very well known I believe) assuming that the Goldbach conjecture holds.

    v1, current

  2. There is a bug with the new section syntax when apostrophes are included. Will fix later, have just omitted them for the moment.

Will the old syntax (with double pound signs etc.) still work after you’re done creating the new syntax?

  3. Yes, no plans to remove the old syntax.

I’ve now fixed the bug from #2, I believe. Not in a way that is perfect, but at least the page renders correctly. It will probably require replacement of Maruku (which is on the cards, but not just yet) to fix it ’properly’, along with several other things.

made cross-links with prime number(!) Also gave Goldbach conjecture a hyperlink.

Let’s remember to link and cross link at least the key terms of each entry.

  4. Thanks very much! I should definitely have done so; I didn't know about the existence of prime number, but should have checked.
