I attempted to follow the stuff about SVG files and including them in the How to. I failed! The obvious big difference between, say , the svg files on Riedemeister moves and the ones at briad group is the use of g, but I do not know how that was drawn. I tried using Inkscape.

New behaviour. I looked at the Sandbox > SVG. All the pictures were rendered well. I copied in the 3-strand-braid1 code , submitted and no pictres were there. I then deleted the additions and still then old pictures , that had been there, were not showing.

BTW I seem to remember that the SVG editor button was removed some time ago, but cannot find the announcement in the nForum.

  1. I’ll look into it, thanks for trying!

Thanks, I will leave it to you so as not to try editing concurrently! BTW I copied the SVG code to a file and Inkscape accepted it and produced the correct picture.
