There is mention of some good online notes , books etc. (specifically on Alg. Top.). Would an entry giving a list of online resources (suitable subdivided into main topic areas) be worth having on the n-Lab?
You mean a bit like Online Resources?
Actually, for this one would want better searching ability, and reviews and so forth. Something like what the rForum thought about but never really got anywhere with.
For a specific subject, I'd say that the best place to list these things is on the main page for that subject on the nlab. Beyond that, I don't know where you'd put this information on the nlab.
Yes, lists of resources on topic pages like algebraic topology would be great. For the moment I have linked to the MathOverflow thread.
