Is it possible to get a list of pages that reference a certain page? Many times I have seen an article and wondered where it comes from (or if it is even necessery etc.). I don’t imagine this would be easy to implement, but if it exists then why not use it?
We used to show these at the bottom of each page, but it was decided that it was too much clutter.
Why not have a link next to “Cite” where it brings a list of pages?

Also when right side-bar context menus became common that counted with Instiki as the page linking everything in the context which created tons of meaningless backlinks.
I would be in favor or reinstating the “linked from” list along with some mechanism so that context menus and see-alsos didn’t generate backlinks.
Linked-from could also normally be hidden/unexpanded which would avoid clutter unless clicked on.
Yes, I agree that we can re-instate this in such a way that one clicks on something to bring up a list of linked-from pages, probably something in the menu either at the top or bottom. Let’s add it to the Technical TODO list (nlabmeta).
I have added it to the TODO
Thanks very much!
