Added in an explicit reference to Gabriel and Zisman.

Deleted the following false statement (in Gabriel–Zisman and Borceux the category of fractions is defined using a universal property and is not in general constructed using any calculus of fractions):

A category of fractions is a localization that is constructed using a calculus of fractions.

As far as I can see, there is nothing worth saving in this article. The article localization will now be renamed to category of fractions, and localization will be a disambiguation page.

When you mean to delete an entry by renaming it ... > history it is important to delete the redirects in its source code (such as the plural redirect) otherwise it will still receive links, as was the case here.

(Also, not to forget to add the plural redirects in the new entries that you create.)

Notice that when you rename an entry, the software automatically adds the previous title as a redirect, counteracting your intended behaviour unless you go back to delete it.

Best is to clear the content of such an entry entirely, except for a link to whatever entry replaces it, so that no confusion can arise should any user still happen upon it.

    Have done this now.

(Though I am not quite convinced of this deletion move, but it’s not so imprtant. More important than the exact title of an entry is that its content clearly alerts readers of ambiguities in naming conventions.)

I personally think that the page could have been improved (and possibly renamed), instead of ditching it altogether. At the very least, there were references there that are worth saving.
