I tried to edit the page and add $t$ back into the diagram but the formatting is daunting to say the least and I'm not familiar with the syntax, but if someone more knowledgeable than I could fix it for posterity that would be lovely.

We are in the process of deprecating the old method of creating SVG figures directly. I do not have time just now to create the Tikz figures; maybe somebody else could do so? (On my screen I can actually see the arrow $t$, but this is one of the problems with the direct SVG method, it is a bit fragile.)
