The latest update of the instiki software broke a few things. To be fair to Jacques, they were things that I should’ve updated a while back but hadn’t gotten round to it. So the server’s merrily upgrading itself but this means that the nLab is out of commission for a bit until everything gets up to its correct version.

    My apologies for the inconvenience.

We appear to be back in business. Please report if there are any further difficulties.

I am encountering lots of XML errors now. I have informed Andrew about this, but for checking what’s going on I would like to know if I am the only one seeing this problem or if others see it, too.

So in what seems to be a random manner, when opening nLab pages I get with a chance of maybe 7 out of 8 an error message that either says “XML error, tag not closed” or “CDATA area not closed” or I get a “connection interrupted error”. One out of 8 times or so, however, things work.

    Anyone seeing anything simialr?

Everything seems fine to me. Starting from the home page and then the last 4 recently revised pages. No problems.

I don’t get any errors clicking through a random dozen pages or so.

By email, Urs has related the XML error to his VPN, so none of us should see it. (I don’t either.)

I can not access nlab at the moment. It worked half an hour ago.

Is it still not working? I can load pages fine.
