    Sorry, my mistake. I thought that you were shifting the discussion on graphics files over here whereas I wanted to comment on the specific issue of slashes in names.

    Maybe we need a convention for this. When it seems that a discussion over there should be shifted over here then someone should start the discussion here with a brief topic summary (e.g. "This discussion is about the issue of strange characters in page names") and a link to the old discussion (which, if I may comment on your expression, should be clearer that this is the new discussion and the cafe is the old one). Over on the cafe, there should be a post saying something like "This discussion is now being continued on the forum" (plus a link). Again, making it clearer that it's shifted.

    I apologise for not realising what you were doing!

    Yeah, I didn't do it very cleanly. I'll do a better job next time — and I'll also try to remember to do it early before putting my own comments on random Café entries!
