    Tim asked (in the discussion on a “tag line” for the forum) about the “Home” and “Discussion” tabs in the list at the top of the page.

    The location that the “Home” tab takes you to is customisable - if you go to your account page (click on “Account” from the above) then in the panel on the left-hand side there’s an option “Change Home Category”. This allows you to designate a particular category as your “Home”. For example, on Azimuth (John’s other forum) then I have it set to the “Technical” thread since I want to be sure that I don’t miss anything in that category. Here, some might like to have it pointing to the “nLab Latest Changes” category. It’s purely a convenience.

    Thanks for that. I tend not to customise enough but it is fine (for me) as it is.
