Look at what has been happening at derivator. The entry was erased and various things put there by an Anonymous Coward. Another one has reinstated the original one!! Has anyone noticed this? I was travelling about the time it happened so my usual check did not occur.
At triangle identities something similar had started. I have rolled back.
Perhaps someone was trying to compute the derivative of some functions…
Someone (at April 16, 2013 07:01:12 from 137.132.3.9) removed the contents of parallel transport. I rolled it back.
Some of this looks strange as if someone was wanting to edit the page, and did not know how. The result was to remove the contents!
I just noticed that another someone had done the same to Boolean algebra. I have rolled that back as well.
Unfortunately these all seem to be from different IPs so a block wouldn’t suffice here.
I am inclined to think these are not malicious, rather very clumsy. The one worry is that they all occurred recently, but from different parts of the world, USA and Singapore for instance. I suggest we keep a close eye on any ’anonymous cowards’ for a bit.
I looked at an old ‘anonymous coward’ (in diagonal of a bisimplicial set) and found …. SPAM! I have given the definition for that entry to replace the spam. The entry had no earlier history.
The anonymous coward (69.165.200.22) seems to be persisting at derivator. I have tried rollback, but so far have not managed to breakin to their supposed edit. It looks like it is spam. The address corresponds to someone in Montreal. (A bit later:I have managed to rollback the entry.)
Why are the recent edits to derivator dated (or rather, timestamped) in the future? Are we on Helsinki time here?
I cannot remember what time (local time = British Summer TIme) I managed to get that edit in to put the material back. It was not that late here. What is the time on the n-Lab clock?
Another attack at Constantin Teleman (April 20, 2013 09:27:54 from 67.188.231.250 ). The whole page was replaced by ->
I have renamed this thread as it is clear that these changes are more likely to be spam attacks.
The contents of cohesion - table were deleted by Anonymous Coward at April 26, 2013 12:09:34 from 119.2.118.254
Thanks for catching this.
