The usual instiki restart command no longer works, and the response times are especially bad today. Has something been changed in the server?

It had gone down 'uncleanly' and left its lock file lying around. Added to that, when it crashed it hadn't killed off its subprocesses - there was a ruby process eating up all the memory. So I killed that process, removed the lock file, and then it restarted okay. Seems back up now (though incredibly slow; guess I'm just used to the new server!).

Dang, I knew that there was something that I knew how to do but was forgetting: delete the lock file!

    Thanks for fixing it.

You know, on second thought, I have no idea where that lock file is, and I can't find it now.

Never mind, I found it, with all the others in /var/lock/susbys/.
