never mind?
I thought I saw this phrase pop up in various odd places as a footnote, without any explanation, but just now I can’t seem to reproduce an example. Has anyone else seen this?
You are probably thinking of the recent thread Superscript numeral linking to footnote not shown when page is included in another page.
Discussion of the issue is also at substitution – Categorical semantics.
My comment was/is: the phrase “substitution is pullback” should not point to an external source but to an nLab page, which itself should then point to relevant external sources in its References-section.
The canonical page to point to would seem to be substitution.
Thanks, but I wasn’t thinking of any nForum thread. What I’m doing in #1 is reporting what seems to be a bug on nLab pages. Has anyone else noticed this bug?
I think it has been removed. In that thread I pointed to I think we see that bug first being introduced and then removed.
If I see it again, I’ll report it again. Based on the evidence of my own eyes, I don’t think the bug was completely eradicated.
Well, I removed it just a few minutes back. Please check again.
