    (From my phone, please excuse the telegraphic style):

    Schimmrigk has some work on using Calabi-Yau varieties in positive characteristic to deduce SCFT charges and properties of mirror pairs. Is anyone aware of more stuff done in the direction of strings on CYs in positive characteristic?
