I noticed an extremely strange behaviour: every time I attempt to edit an existing page, the whole text disappears in a second or two replaced by

    undefined[object Object]undefined

Is it my fault or what? Did you experience the same thing?

I checked by editing a page (in Knot theory) and had no trouble.

What should I do then? :( I’ve no clue why this happens.

I’m working with Chrome and tried several things but still have no clue. Firefox gives no problem at all.

Hi Fosco, thanks for reporting the issue. I’m in the train right now but will try to have a look when I get home.

So I’m not seeing any problem with Chrome version 35.0.1916.153 (274914). Which version are you using? Could you try maybe disabling any extensions/plugins you may have installed recently?

My version of Chrome is 36.0.1985.125. Same problem from the laptop which is a far newer machine; I didn’t install any new extension in the last month, but I can’t date back when the problem started…

I’ve now tested it with version 36.0.1985.143 as well, and I don’t see any problems. Could you try disabling all extensions? Does it work in any other browsers you might have installed?

Working on a different machine without logging on gmail seems to give no problem: it is clear that the issue is linked to a conflicting extension of Chrome; I hope to figure out which it is. Thank you for giving me feedback!

I’m using Chrome 38.0.2125.101, 64-bit Linux, and for me the problem disappears when I turn off the “savefrom.net helper” extension.

But the really weird thing is that while nLab is affected, the Instiki pages are not.
