When I try to look at the Science of Logic discussion here, I’m getting
page contains the following errors:
error on line 93 at column 163: Extra content at the end of the document Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error.
and
Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/nlab/www/nforum/extensions/XHTMLValidator/default.php on line 2949
My browser will show the page, but still the discussion is gone, and replaced entirely by that fatal error that you've quoted above. I don't think that this is the only Forum page that's had this problem.
Got the same problem. Any help?
I tried on Firefox. Blank page. Get the error message on Chrome and Safari hangs on it.
The last page of the discussion loads okay, but the first page is a no go. So frustrating.
Starting from comment 101 you can get the discussion by searching on the title, but the earlier pages do not seem to be accessible. Here is a link.
A simple solution might be to reduce the number of comments visible on a page. I guess Adeel would need to be contacted about that.
If there is a lot of LaTeX, the discussions load extremely slowly on my browser (webkit based) due to the MathJax processing. So I’d vote for quite a low number of comments visible, say 25.
I also wondered whether reducing the number of comments per page might help. Its not the only discussion which is inaccessible at the moment either. The wiki history of the universe discussion is another.
