The David Hilbert, Nick Huggett reference seems to be quite obsolete. I’d remove it, except that someone might remember what it was supposed to be and track it down elsewhere.
While I didn’t know the article, much less have a memory of adding a pointer to it (though I have to accept that the page history claims I added it in rev 3), checking it out
reveals that it first recalls the definition of the Euclidean group and then discusses some philosophy of science related to that.
Since the entry currently redirects for “Euclidean group” the article is clearly not misplaced there. Of course it looks odd that there is no other reference than this one. But instead of removing information from this poor stub entry, somebody should add some minimum of content to it, enough so that a side remark on related philosophy of science doesn’t look out of place.
I seem to remember that the philosophical point made in Hilbert-Hugget is one that David C. has been writing about here, at least on the nForum, maybe not in the nLab itself. But now I don’t find the links.
