created an nLab template page and linked to it from HowTo.

    Please criticize and/or improve.

Very nice. Would have been immensely helpful when I first showed up here. :)

I added some redirects to the bottom of the template (an important part of creating a page).

Thanks for the additions. By the way: is it possible to include comments in an nLab source code? I.e. text that isn’t displayed on the genuine nLab page but may serve to give information about the source code itself?

I added also some example math typesetting to the page: inline, displayed, and a diagram.

I don’t think that it is possible to add comments in to the source code. I think that this is viewed as being a way for spammers to insert keywords without being noticed (since such comments can get indexed by unwary search engines).

Is this a template page or an example page? At the moment, it is the latter but claims to be the former. I couldn’t copy-and-paste that and start merrily typing away, even with just deleting the stuff above the horizontal rule. On the other hand, I think that an example page is much more useful (and explicitly linking to its source is a stroke of genius).

Under the Lore of “If it’s broken, fix it”, I’ve modified the page to split these two functions. The main content is declared to be an example, and I’ve put a skeletal template in at the end (which can be cut-and-pasted without having to go to the source code).

While not properly logged in, I tried to encourage plural redirects in the template at template page.

    Just a remark to newcomers:

when creating new entries, maybe have a look at our template page!
